Q1: Will the quality of my video improve after it is converted? No, the video does not improve. Further any sort of copying will degrade video in some manner. The best time to copy video tape is when its on a new tape before it has a chance to degrade. Q2: What is the longest video I can put on the DVD? Normally on a standard DVD you should be able to put 1-2 hours of video. However going past 90min is not recommended as there is a loss in quality passed 90min. Q3: Can you scan photos and put them onto DVD with Video? Yes, we can scan photos and add them as a slide show to your DVD. Q4: Can you convert 8mm film to DVD? No, we do not have the equipment for converting the 8mm film. It is usually very time consuming and expensive process, where each frame is scanned and converted to video. Q5: Do you add chapters and menus to the video? Yes, we add chapter by default, where possible and we can also add a menu if requested. Additional charge may apply. Q6: Can I put my own photo or music as background of the menu? Yes, if it is free of copyright, noncommercial, your own composition or you hold the copyright or have the permission from copyright holder. Q7: My tape is really degraded, can it be converted? We can try to convert the video. Some tapes are too badly gone. However we will try our best to convert the video, as we understand how precious those memories are. Q8: I have an NTSC video tape, can this be converted? Yes, we can convert most of NTSC type videos & some of its variants but not SECAM. Q9: Can you edit/cut some video before making DVD? Yes, we can edit the video. It will however attract an additional extra charge. Video editing usually takes a lot of time. Q10: Can you protect the DVD from copying once done? There are some copy protections available on the market, however we do not use them. Q11: I have a program recorded from TV can you convert it to DVD? No, if you do not hold the copyright to the materials or have a permission from the copyright holder, we will not attempt to convert the video. Q12: I need a backup of my old movie I bough long ago, can you do it? No, if you do not hold the copyright to the materials or have a permission from the copyright holder, we will not attempt to convert the video. Q13: Can you provide extra copies of the DVD once created? Yes, at a small extra charge, we can make 1 or 5 or 100 if you wish. Larger volume pricing is available from our price list. Q14: Can you convert my DVD into mpeg2, mpg-1, avi or Xvid format? Yes, we can provide few different format. DV format also available however the files are usually very big (12Gig+) and you will need to provide external hard disk with ample space to copy the file onto.
